What Kitchen Garden has done is to standardise the pricing on the seed packs so the prices remain constant and the volume in terms of weight differs depending on the seed varieties. The drainage tray is easily removable for cleaning.

Sprouts may cost as little as 4 to 10 cents per kilo, when produced at home. Each pound of seeds develops 3 to 5 times its original weight (depending on the seed in question).
